Taught by a cream-of-the-crop selection of visiting yoga teachers, our intensives draw serious yoga students and yoga teachers from all over the world. Intensives offer yoga students the opportunity to spend four or more days absorbed in learning about and experiencing yoga with a respected international yoga teacher.
September 2010, The Special Yoga Centre, London
This year Doug will be focusing especially on incorporating the "muscle energy techniques" as well as "postural release" techniques of Leon Chaitow, incorporating them into asana, modified asana, and adjustment techniques for overcoming pain arising from movement problems. This will include a deep look into breathing patterns, marma points and principles for working with osteoporosis, multiple sclerosis, and more challenging cases of scoliosis.

I liked everything about Richard Freeman's intensive. The practical classes were filled with clear instruction, humour, fun and were very aware from a safety point of view. I learned so much which can be integrated into everyday life.
