workshops and intensives

A key part of our mission at Yogacampus is to make the teachings of some of the world’s best teachers more widely available. Our regular events include both workshops and training intensives with top yoga teachers from around the world.

Workshops are shorter events – usually a half day, full day or weekend – which are generally open to students of all levels of yoga experience (though some may not be appropriate for beginners: please see individual workshop listing for guidance). These workshops usually combine theory and practice and explore important yoga topics in more detail than regular classes: examples range from how to protect wrist injuries to an introduction to Ayurveda.

Training Intensives last for 5 or 6 days (sometimes consecutively and sometimes spread over 2 or 3 weekends). Again combining theory and practice, they are aimed more at those either already teaching or training to teach yoga – but are open to all other experienced yoga students. Specialist themes range from learning to teach relaxation and restorative yoga to practical yoga philosophy to teaching yoga to children.  Students on our Yoga Teaching Diploma course are required to take two Training Intensives as part of their studies, one of which may be our Pregnancy Yoga, Children's Yoga or Mother and Baby Yoga teacher trainings.

Our Training Intensives and many of our other events can be counted as In-service Training for British Wheel of Yoga teachers.

How to book

Please see the relevant event description below. Please note that payment in full is due on booking. Once you have booked a place on one of our events, your payment cannot be refunded, but you may transfer your place to someone else (so long as they meet the eligibility requirements, if any, for the event), provided that you notify us before the event begins.
