Do you need to update your First Aid training? Or do you need to do a First Aid course as part of your training?
The day will focus on how to deal with the types of emergency which a yoga teacher may come across in an everyday class — including fainting, epilepsy, asthma and heart conditions — and will cover all aspects of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and basic first aid. The cost includes handouts and a completion certificate. Michael believes that first aid should be experiential and fun and promises to guarantee both! This course complies with the Health and Safety Executive Requirements for a one day programme.
Michael Bond is a Registered General Nurse and a Health and Safety at Work First Aid Instructor and Assessor. He teaches anatomy and physiology, and provides first aid tuition to students and teachers, on the British Wheel of Yoga diploma course.
For yoga teachers and trainee teachers only. Sun 16 May 2010 - 9.30am - 4.30pm (30 min lunch break) Cost: £70 (includes a certificate of completion)
