upcoming workshops

Workshops are shorter events – usually a half day, full day or weekend – which are generally open to students of all levels of yoga experience (though some may not be appropriate for beginners: please see individual workshop listing for guidance). These workshops usually combine theory and practice and explore important yoga topics in more detail than regular classes: examples range from how to protect wrist injuries to an introduction to Ayurveda.

Do you need to update your First Aid training? Or do you need to do a First Aid course as part of your training? The day will focus on how to deal with the types of emergency which a yoga teacher may come across in an everyday class — including fainting, epilepsy, asthma and heart conditions — and will cover all aspects of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and basic first aid.  The cost includes handouts and a completion certificate.  more...
