Yoga Teacher Training Diploma - London October 2020

Yogacampus Islington, London

Want to train to become a yoga teacher? Then why not apply to join the next intake of Yogacampus London yoga teacher training students?

The Yogacampus Yoga Teacher Training Diploma is one of the UK's top yoga teacher training courses, known for its non-dogmatic and authentic approach. At Yogacampus we honour the lineage and traditions of yoga as we bring it into the 21st century.

This 16-month in-depth teacher training will nurture your talents and help to develop you into a well-rounded and confident teacher. We have trained over 1000 successful teachers since 2003, so you will be in good hands. Rather than focussing on any particular school or mode of yoga, you will evolve your own unique style of teaching.

“It's actually been one of the best experiences of my life! It's been incredibly hard work at times and yet ultimately it's been a very rewarding and enriching journey with many unforgettable moments of hard graft, self-discovery, wonderful kinship and laughter!” - Amy Foster (Yogacampus graduate)

Why train with Yogacampus?

  • we have experience behind us - we have trained over 1000 teachers since 2003
  • we are one of the only ‘blended learning’ courses, offering you both face-to-face and online teaching (with access to readings materials, practice quizzes, videos and more via a state of the art online learning system)
  • we offer you a range of expert teachers, with specialist knowledge to enhance your learning
  • we give you an experienced contact teacher to mentor you throughout the course
  • we encourage you to explore your passion and find your unique voice as a teacher
  • many of our graduates have built very successful yoga teaching careers, including establishing their own yoga centres.

But don’t just take our word for it. Have a look at our short video (made in 2018) where we celebrate 15 years of Yogacampus Teacher Training with some words from our graduates and teachers.

How will I learn?

The 15 core modules will be delivered by a combination of live-online and face-to-face training days, supported with regular check-ins, quizzes, videos, podcasts, and reading materials as part of our unique online learning platform. This way, your learning will seamlessly integrate with your life.

“I learned so much about yoga and it has transformed my practice. The teachers on the course are probably some of the best in London. I appreciated the online learning module as it made submission of assignments really easy.” - Ian Jacobs-Dean (Yogacampus graduate)

You will also have a dedicated contact teacher who will guide and mentor you throughout the course.

All candidates must be computer literate and have access to the internet for some modules and for the submission of written work and assignments.

Who are the course teachers?

We have a dedicated teacher training board of Catriona Brokenshire, Liz Lark, and Sarah Litton. Together they have many years of teaching and teacher training experience. They teach the majority of the course content, but we also draw on the expertise of other leading teachers, including Susanne Lahusen (experiential anatomy), Dr. Graham Burns (yoga history and philosophy and Sanskrit), Raquel Alves (asana), Mina Hosokawa (life as a yoga teacher), Paola Ceccarelli (anatomy and physiology), Jane Craggs (philosophy), and Adelene Cheong (restorative yoga). Your contact teacher is likely to be a graduate of the course.

Who is the course for?

We welcome anyone who has a passion for yoga and wants to share it with the world. We look for a minimum of 3 years’ regular and consistent yoga practice, preferably through class attendance. However, on occasion we are also open to people who can demonstrate a commitment to practice of at least 2 years, ideally including one to one study and/or attendance on yoga retreats or other trainings. You will need to complete our application form below (including your two references) and e-mail it to teachertraining@yogacampus.com.
