“Breaking the taboo by talking about the menopause and sharing facts not fiction is essential if women are to feel comfortable coming forward to seek support in your classes.” - Petra

This online (via Zoom) discussion group aims to inspire you with ways to modify your classes and create safe and supportive spaces that are welcoming to students going through the menopause.

The event is not recorded, partly to preserve the live sessions as a safe space for all to share their experiences and personal background.

We will discuss:

  • What is the menopause? (A webinar with slides)
  • How might common symptoms show up in your classes? (interactive group discussion)·
  • How can yoga help? (Overview)
  • Q&A
