Since graduating from the Yogacampus YTT 200hr diploma in 2013, Emma has been regularly teaching group classes, private small groups, workshops, one to ones and corporate yoga. Emma also has experience managing a yoga studio.

Always a student, Emma has continued her studies with a special interest in experiential anatomy, studying with Julie Gudmestad and most recently Gary Carter, with whom she has learnt a gentle, nourishing way to practice, which mostly involves lots of rolling on the floor.

Emma’s practice and teachings stem from a place of self- inquiry, encouraging her students to focus on how they feel in their body, without prescription, but gentle guidance and encouragement. Thus making her classes supportive, therapeutic, nurturing and most importantly personal, regardless of age, size, experience or ability.

Understanding that we are made of curves, twists and spirals has influenced Emma’s understanding of the importance of fluid movement, undulation, oscillation and wiggling. Which helps to release physical tension, mental tension and is often accompanied with a giggle or two !

Movement and breath work can be powerfully transformative and the practice of yoga has helped Emma to manage both physical and emotional pain. She now feels honoured to guide others towards this sense of freedom and peace in body and mind.
