A.G. Mohan was a personal student of Sri T. Krishnamacharya for 18 years, from 1971 to 1989. In 1976, he co–founded the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai and was its Honorary Secretary until 1989. He was also the convener of Sri Krishnamacharya’s centenary celebrations in 1988. Mohanji is the author of Yoga for Body, Breath, and Mind, co-author, with his wife Indra, and their son and daughter, of Yoga Therapy, and co-author with his son Ganesh of Krishnamacharya, His Life and Teaching, which he wrote as a personal tribute. He has also translated the Yoga Yajnavalkya, one of the most important classical texts on yoga. These books are respected worldwide for the accessible and clear way in which they guide practitioners and teachers in the application of yoga for personal development and as a therapy. Mohanji is also greatly respected for the depth of knowledge that he has in the area of philosophy, unlocking a “path of yoga” that is attainable to all. Mohanji has a passion and enthusiasm that is totally inspiring.

Indra Mohan has been practising and teaching yoga for more than three decades. She is one of the few people who received a post-graduate diploma in yoga from Krishnamacharya. Known for her serene demeanour, she is an embodiment of sattva. She is a source of support and wisdom to her many personal students.
