Beverley Nolan

Beverley is a yoga teacher and teacher trainer with more than 30 years experience. Originally trained in the Iyengar tradition her practice and teaching have evolved in conjunction with her interests and training in somatic modalities including BodyMind CenteringĀ®, FeldekraisĀ®, and Authentic Movement. Beverley’s classes and workshops offer content that blends the fields of yoga with contemporary embodiment practices like experiential anatomy and somatic psychology. Her main yoga teaching influence over the last 12 years is Donna Farhi with whom she studies annually, and a more recent connection with Amy Matthews over the last 5 years.

Beverley is registered with Yoga Alliance at E-RYT-500 level, with the Independent Yoga Network at IYN-500, and holds Recognised Teacher status with the BWY. Beverley is also registered with Yoga Alliance as a CPD provider, YACEP.

In addition to yoga teaching, Beverley is an ISMETA registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator with a private practice in Cambridge. She is a Faculty member of the Institute for Integrative Bodywork & Movement Therapy under the direction of Linda Hartley teaching in the UK, Lithuania and Russia on the IBMT Diploma programme.

When she isn’t working, you’ll find Beverley walking her dog, sewing quilts for good causes, scratching poems in carefully chosen notebooks, and trying to create a garden.
