Sonia started Yoga at 14. Since then she has enjoyed practicing a wide range of traditional and contemporary styles. In her younger years Iyengar Yoga was her great love. Now in her 50’s Sonia appreciates Scaravelli-inspired Yoga, Restorative Yoga and the playful free-style method as taught by David Sye.

Sonia has especially found home in the therapeutic approach of Anubhava Yoga. She loves the empowering self-respecting nature of the practices which enable people understand how to help themselves. Further Sonia appreciates how Anubhava gives practitioners a distinct experience of themselves beyond the physical.

Having worked with a wide range of complementary therapies (Reflexology, Kinesiology, Healing, Counselling, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy) for over 20 years, Sonia has extensive experience of the relationship between the mind, body and spirit. Years of practicing Yoga, Meditation and Tai Chi has meant that she can open to be guided by life-force energy. Sonia shares her understanding of the subtle aspects of our being in an accessible, down to earth way.
