Further Information

There’s no need to bring anything at all except for your good selves. We pack up enough mats, blankets, block, bolsters and pillows for everyone. We also bring eye pillows, but there are slightly fewer of those.

If you are really very attached to your own blanket or mat, then do bring them along if you like because you may feel more at home that way, but we wanted you to know we have plenty of props for everyone to be very comfortable. The shrine room has fabulous underfloor heating, and we trust that will be on full; but to be honest, whatever the temperature, I would really encourage you to bring extra socks and sweaters.

A notebook and pens would also be useful to take notes with; A closed bottle of water is also advisable.

There’s a truly lovely and very affordable community cafe on site, and you are welcome to use it for tea breaks and lunches (see here).

If you choose to get your lunch from the tea room, it is recommended that you pre-book your lunch in the cafe before the workshop begins . Alternatively, there is a Sainbury’s right next door to the centre, and various cafes nearby.
