The Yoga Sutra-s present the subtlest workings of the human being, from our deepest suffering to our highest spiritual possibilities.

In-depth study

During this one-day workshop, Marc will select 25 referential sutra-s from the original 195. To allow for deeper understanding of the text, each sutra will be translated word for word, explained and illustrated with real-life examples. These referential sutra-s will allow you to comprehend all the aspects, workings, problems and potentials of the individual. It presents, clearly and directly, a multitude of tools, techniques and paths leading to holistic health.

Beyond personal progress, the text also brings us understanding of all the underlying and evident imbalance in today’s society.

Full integration of the text

Marc has a practical and inspiring knowledge of the sutra-s and will show you a new and down-to-Earth dimension of the sutra-s. This way of teaching hands you the keys, allowing you to use your direct knowledge of the text to nourish your practice, your reflection and your decisions on a daily basis.

Time to practise

Throughout the day, Marc will also give two practices, helping you to maintain comfort and concentration, and allowing you to experiment with certain areas of the text.

This introductory day is also a taster for Marc’s full 48 hour specialist training The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali: Yogis Past and Present running over four weekends as follows:

Weekend 1: Saturday 12th – Sunday 13th January 2019
Weekend 2: Saturday 2nd – Sunday 3rd February 2019
Weekend 3: Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th February 2019
Weekend 4: Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th March 2019

Certification
