Would you like to take over the ownership of Yogacampus and lead the next stage of its journey? 22 years ago, Elizabeth Stanley (co-owner and current CEO of Yogacampus) switched careers and invested in The Life Centre (the “original” London yoga and complementary therapy centre).

"After 22 wonderful years, the time has come for me to step down and pass the torch to someone who can lead Yogacampus into its next exciting chapter. This decision has not been easy, but I believe it that this is the right moment for a fresh perspective for Yogacampus, and also for me personally. Yogacampus has always been more than just a business to me; it is a community and a passion. Over the years, we have built a family of dedicated teachers, students, and practitioners who share a commitment to quality and integrity in yoga education. Change is a natural and necessary part of growth. As we continue to adapt to the evolving landscape of yoga and wellness education, I am confident that new leadership with innovative ideas and commercial acumen will help us thrive. Looking back, I am incredibly proud of how far Yogacampus has come, and happy to remain involved during a transition period. The future holds immense potential, and I believe a new leader will be able to seize new opportunities and continue the legacy of excellence that Yogacampus is known for."

Yogacampus grew out of The Life Centre to become an internationally recognised yoga educator of quality and integrity. It is one of very few international organisations dedicated specifically to training yoga teachers and yoga therapists, and to providing ongoing yoga training and education.

Pre-Covid, Yogacampus was highly successful, growing year on year. During the pandemic, it pivoted swiftly and successfully into an online training business, significantly growing its international footprint.

The post-pandemic yoga landscape, and the adult education sector, have changed markedly and Yogacampus now needs to adapt to the new opportunities in this sector. While historically the training of yoga teachers has been Yogacampus’ core product, many of you will agree that there is now an oversupply of often short entry-level courses.

Yogacampus has made the decision to exit the 200hr teacher training course and yoga therapy course market (for now), while it has been investing in researching broader opportunities for mind, body, breath practices and yoga wisdom to be used for enhanced wellbeing and as a support to more mainstream healthcare. We feel that there is growing potential in areas that are aligned with yoga and that, for an individual or company with insights into this sector, Yogacampus would represent an excellent springboard into a thriving business. This period of industry change coincides with Elizabeth wishing to move away from full time active directorship of the business, meaning that the next phase of the Yogacampus story should be led by someone new. Could that be you?

Yogacampus is looking for a commercially minded individual (or organisation) with entrepreneurial spirit to take over ownership and lead this next chapter. You do not need to be a yoga teacher, although a good understanding of the sector is important, together with relevant commercial experience and innovative ideas.

We encourage our community to share this opportunity with friends, students, and anyone who might be interested in bringing fresh perspectives to our organisation. We believe a refresh on technology and new ways of educating are what is needed to adapt and thrive in this evolving landscape. Yogacampus has in place experienced staff and systems to take advantage of new opportunities, and Elizabeth is committed to providing the necessary support for the transition.

We want to reassure you that Yogacampus remains committed to continuing to offer the highest quality courses and events. We have an amazing community of highly dedicated and educated teachers, therapists, and practitioners, many of whom have been on this journey with us for many years. We retain a deep commitment to maintaining quality of tuition, affordable education, and the support of this global community. We have over two decades of experience in developing and delivering high-quality trainings, both in person and online; extensive contacts in the yoga world; a large database of students; and a brand name that is internationally recognised and associated with yoga training of the highest quality. This opportunity represents an excellent springboard from which to launch new courses that speak to the opportunities and needs in the current dynamic mind-body landscape.

Yogacampus currently operates as a not-for-profit educational entity. However its brand name, trademark, and domain names are owned outside the not-for-profit organisation. We are seeking remuneration for the sale of the intellectual property.
