Frequently Asked Questions

Please read ahead for the most frequently asked questions around Yogacampus Courses and Events.

What Kind of Courses and Events do you offer?

We provide a range of courses and events for experienced yoga teachers and teachers in training. We offer our courses and events across four different delivery methods.

Please read ahead for details on the four types of course offered:

Online (Live)

These courses and events are delivered online (currently using Zoom) on specific dates and times, and allow for real time interaction between teacher(s) and students. Relevant links will be provided on joining. Some online (live) courses and events are also recorded for participants to review in their own time for a limited period.

- when will the joining link for the event be shared?

The joining link can be found in your booking confirmation email, which you will have received on booking the event. It will be re-sent via email as part of our pre-event communication, at least 24 hours before the event commences.

Online (Pre Recorded)

These are structured courses and events which are delivered primarily by means of pre-recorded material which you are able to watch in your own time. The pre-recorded material is made available progressively over the period of the course or event and is available for a specified period after the end of the course or event. It is usually supplemented by readings and other resources available on the Yogacampus online learning management system. These courses and events may include some optional online (live) sessions.

(Blended)

Courses and events described as 'blended' are delivered using a mixture of some or all of face to face, pre-recorded, and online (live) content. Precise details will vary between courses and events. The material is often supplemented by readings and other resources available on the Yogacampus online learning management system.

(Face to Face)

These courses and events take place in a physical location in the presence of the teacher(s) and fellow students.

Can anyone participate? What is my eligibility for my chosen course or event?

Most of the workshops that come under our events and CPD category are open to all, although many are aimed at teachers in training and qualified teachers. Courses listed under Specialist Training have individual pre requisites and eligibility. Please check the individual course pages for this, and if you have further questions email info@yogacampus.com

How do I book courses and events?

The easiest way is to create an account with Yogacampus and to book via the event page. Alternatively you can book over the phone, by calling +44 (0)207 042 99 00 or by emailing info@yogacampus.com. If applying for a Specialist Course, please be sure to fill in any required pre course information or application form listed on the page and include in your application email to info@yogacampus.com

What is the cancellation policy for courses and events?

You may cancel any booking for a course, workshop or intensive (an ‘Event’) so long as you do so at least 30 days before the start date of the Event (60 days for residential Events and for our Yoga Teacher Training Diploma and Yoga Therapy Diploma courses), in which case we will refund you the £ (sterling) amount you have paid us in respect of that Event, less an administration fee of 10% of the price of the Event or £20, whichever is the greater. If you cancel within 30 days (60 days for residential Events) of the start date of the Event there will be no refund unless we are able to transfer your booking to another participant, in which case we will refund you the amount you have paid us in respect of that Event, less an administration fee calculated as set out above.

What happens if Yogacampus cancels a course or event I have booked?

If Yogacampus cancels a course or event you are booked for, or amends the format of the event, you will be notified in good time via email. You will be offered the option either to transfer to the new course dates, or to receive a 100% refund for the booking.

What do I wear for my event or course?

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move and stretch in. Some people prefer to wear leggings and workout tops, others loose trousers and t shirts, and all that matters is that you feel comfortable. You may want to bring a jumper and warm socks with you for sections of the event where you are sitting or relaxing.

Do I need to bring anything?

It is a good idea to bring a reusable water bottle, and a small meditation cushion to sit on, if you prefer not to use studio bolsters. Be sure to remember your notebook and pen for taking notes on the theory and lecture aspects of the course or event you’re attending.

What is the accreditation for my course or workshop?

All of our events count toward CPD hours. Most specialist events will also be accredited by a specific awarding body, such as the Yoga Alliance, or the British Wheel of Yoga. To check the accreditation for your chosen course, please check the event page. If you have further queries on accreditation, please email info@yogacampus.com

Can I obtain CPD points for attending courses and workshops?

Yes, all of our events count toward CPD hours. On completion of your chosen course or workshop you’ll receive a personal Yogacampus Certificate of Completion by email, detailing these hours.

What happens if I miss contact hours for my course?

In order to obtain full certification, most courses will require you to be in attendance for all contact hours. Please email info@yogacampus.com to discuss deferring or catch up plans for your chosen course.
