Yoga and Neurophysiology
UK has recently been ranked among the world's most stressed countries. As a Yoga Therapist and Psychiatric doctor working in London, Dr Stanford Wong has seen many cases where stress has led to a variety of physical, emotional and mental issues. He believes it is essential to have a practice that helps us regulate our nervous system; especially on how to relax and activate our Parasympathetic nervous system.

What to Expect
This workshop will blend experiential learning with scientific knowledge to help us to understand the basis of our practice. This practice will explore different Yoga techniques as a way to access our own neuro-physiology. These include:
- physical postures
- breathing practices
- sound, visualisation, and meditative practices
You will also learn how you can adjust the practices according to the rhythm of your life: learn to speed up when needed and to slow down when it's called for.
Props
Please have to hand any props (eg. mat, blocks, bolsters, blankets, eye mask) for your individual comfort.
