Eunice has been a student of yoga since 2000, and teaching for nearly 15 years.

She has a multidimensional approach to teaching, and is passionate about supporting women in their total well-being. Her interest in the therapeutic aspects of yoga to assist populations that have experienced trauma was strengthened by her time working in Rwanda in 2008/2009 for a medical NGO; teaching yoga as an adjunct to HIV treatment and psychological support for female survivors of the ’94 genocide.

In 2017, Eunice founded Movement for Healing, a programme which offers yoga to female survivors of sexual trauma as a natural expansion of the work she has been doing with private clients over the last decade. It’s core ethos is to provide a women-centred, survivor-led, compassionate and respectful space in which women in the community can access yoga practises to support their daily lives.

Eunice’s study includes both General and Women’s-specific Yoga Therapy, Trauma Informed Yoga for Survivors of Sexual Trauma, Trauma Centre’s Trauma Sensitive Yoga 40-hr workshop, Yoga Nidra Meditation (iRest), Pregnancy Yoga, and Children’s Yoga. She has been a faculty member and mentor on the Yogacampus Teacher Training Diploma in London since 2010, and a member of the Yoga Nidra Network in the UK, and the international iRest Yoga Nidra community.
