Lisa Sanfilippo

Lisa Sanfilippo is known for offering deeper levels of awareness and insight in body, mind and heart. Her classes draw upon smart bio-mechanical alignment principles, Tantric philosophy, art, and psychology. Lisa has been practising yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2002.

As a student and teacher, she has three great passions: alignment that helps the body to heal; philosophy and enquiry that informs life’s meaning; and building connections with healers, artists, and those who inspire her to continue to learn, grow and share. She weaves these loves into her classes, offering her students a chance to connect to their own wisdom.

Lisa currently offers yoga therapy and psychotherapeutic counselling, having trained at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London where she is pursuing a second Master’s degree, this time researching the linkages between yoga and psychotherapy.

Lisa teaches yoga throughout London, across the UK and worldwide, offering workshops and training, including the 200 hour initiation to yoga teaching. Lisa has also served as a trainer of continuing professional development courses with the Minded Institute and offers yoga therapy modules with London Based Yogacampus and teaches a module on its Yoga Therapy training. Lisa has co-authored scholarly chapters, written for popular wellbeing magazines, and is currently publishing her first two books with Singing Dragon and Bloomsbury.
