[Nadis, Circulation and the Joints] and [Gravity as Therapy: SATYA, Savasana and Yoga Nidra]
Yogacampus is excited to welcome back Tias Little for these special one-day workshops, which can be attended as drop-in sessions or to fulfill the Prajna Yoga SATYA certification requirements.
Nadis, Circulation and the Joints: Friday 1st March
In yoga, the nadis are described as rivers of energy that flow through the body. They are the circulatory pathways of blood, lymphatic and nerve that run through all the tissues of the body. They move via arcs, curves, spirals and elliptical flow. In this immersion, we do SATYA movements and yoga postures that increase circulation through the joints of the body. We use rocking, circular and spiral movements to open the fascia of the body. When there is flow through the currents of the nadis there is radiant health and longevity in the body.
Gravity as Therapy: SATYA, Savasana and Yoga Nidra: Saturday 2nd March
In this class we drop with gravity into the earth in order to heal the subtle body. When we do not resist gravity, but allow our bones and connective tissues to release there is a profound letting go. We alternate between movement and stillness in order to allow awareness to settle into the interior. We use SATYA and savasana to “drop in” so that layers of the psyche and emotional self can dissolve. Then through the practice of yoga nidra, like rain into dry ground, we soak into the essential awareness, nourishing nerve, blood and bone.
There are limited drop in sessions available for these workshops, as it is also a requirement for the SATYA1 training. In order to be fair, places are being reserved for those wishing to do the full qualification (5 day intensive + 1 day workshop of choice).
Friday 1st March: Nadis, Circulation and the Joints – Fully booked for drop in (please add your name to the wait list)
Saturday 2nd March: Gravity as Therapy: SATYA, Savasana and Yoga Nidra – Fully booked for drop in (please add your name to the wait list)
If you are doing the full SATYA qualification and wish to book one of the above workshops alongside the intensive, email us on firstname.lastname@example.org with your chosen workshop (if it is not available for booking directly through the website).
Please note that this workshop counts towards elective hours on the Yoga Therapy Diploma.
Upon completion of this workshop, you will receive a Yogacampus Certificate of Completion.
If you wish to gain certification from Prajna Yoga as a SATYA teacher, you are required to take the SATYA 1 intensive running 3rd to 7th March 2019 and complete additional hours of self-study. You will then have 45 hours of SATYA 1 training.
To become a SATYA teacher, all SATYA courses are required – please see the Prajna Yoga website for further information on the certification process: https://www.prajnayoga.net/yoga-training/satya/
